Ken Lay Croaks

Just off the wires - criminal Ken Lay is dead. Good. Although too bad he didn't get to suffer in prison.

I am certain the bulls on this board would be touting Enron as the stock of the future if it was 1999. How about some HANS, GOOG, and NTRI?

Bit harsh. Enron was a scapegoat was it not?

Since he's "broke"

I wonder who's going to pay for the funeral?

without prejudice

Tim, what is happening to your blog. I quite enjoy the easy rapport that you have enabled by letting all comments being posted , BUT , what the fuck is with the neo christian bullshit. If I want a religious bend to my INVESTMENT reading I would frequent a fucking church channel. Don't bring " in any fashion " your religious views to a public discussion "please". You don't talk about sex on this site, so don't give me your "beliefs" either. A thief and a liar probably killed himself. good riddance. leave it at that.

I'm wondering which of his FOUR Aspen houses he was at when he 'died'.

"Ken Lay Croaks--Good." ??!

Pretty cold, Tim. While I often find your "candor" refreshing, there is such a thing as drawing the line. I doubt anyone here's a Lay fan, but deploring his crimes is a long way from applauding his death. Perhaps he was 100% knowledgeable about every corrupt act, in which case he deserved to be punished. And perhaps his crime was primarily one of weakness, ignorance, and avoidance, in which case he should have been held accountable as well. But he was also a husband, father, and person. Hit him hard-- very hard-- in the pocketbook, as fit the crime. But there is no need for a gleeful celebration of a man's death.

Cheering for this guys death, is really low. Even though he was a crook, and deserved to be punished, I fail too se why he should be spit on after his death. All of you guys wanting him dead, and you to Tim, would you pull the trigger your self? Maybee while his wife and children were watching?
